​This tour takes place in one of the most important national parks of Nicoya Peninsula, which is located in the heart of Guanacaste province, passing through rural areas, crops and little towns up to Tempisque river. Once aboard, the adventure begins looking for local wildlife, among which Capuchin monkeys are the main attraction and can be seen along the shore of the river in big families.

Our second hosts during the trip are the impressive crocodiles that impose respect and admiration from the river near the boat and from the shore while sunbathing. There can also be found a wide variety of birds as herons, egrets and ibises, and some turtles, bats, coatis and prehistoric looking iguanas. Once the boat trip is finished, a traditional lunch will we waiting in the nearest town ahead.

This tour takes around 6 hours from 7.30am to approx. 1.30pm.
